DP presents youth program: Tax exemption for students and minimum wage of 200

The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, has presented several new measures of the DP program, which aim to improve the conditions for young people in Albania. According to him, this program focuses on facilities for students and business support to employ young people.

One of the main points of the program is the abolition of taxes for higher education, to ease the financial burden of students and enable them to focus more on their studies. The DP also proposes a living wage of 200 euros per month for students, aiming to improve their living conditions.

Muçollari also stressed the need to reduce working hours for students, in order to have more time to pursue their studies. According to him, Kosovo has followed a similar policy with success, so Albania should also take concrete steps in this direction.

Another important measure proposed by the DP is the construction of schools in certain areas of Tirana, such as Liqeni i Thatë, Astiri and Fresku, where there is currently a lack of suitable educational institutions. Muçollari announced that the DP will start procurement for these projects as soon as it comes to power.

In addition to education, the DP has also planned a fiscal policy to encourage youth employment. According to the program, any business that creates a job for people under 30 will benefit from zero income tax. This measure aims to increase employment opportunities for young people and promote economic development.

Muçollari stated that these policies are a necessity to ensure a better future for young people and to build a more sustainable educational and economic system in the country.
