"DP with the program for cultural heritage", Zhupa: Total ignoring of

The Chairwoman of the Education and Culture Committee, Ina Zhupa, has reacted after the publication of the KLSH audit that found that no UNESCO recommendations have been implemented.

Zhupa states: "This shows more than ever that the DP's cultural heritage program is needed! The Democratic Party has guaranteed that every cultural heritage site will implement the highest UNESCO standards."

Full status:

Total disregard for UNESCO recommendations by the outgoing government. The DP, with its cultural heritage program, provides guarantees for protection and will have a UNESCO partner.

The latest audit of the SAI states that: "The Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation does not take any concrete measures to address the implementation of the recommendations made by UNESCO missions for properties included in the World Heritage List. The recommendations are not addressed for follow-up and implementation by any specific structure in public institutions, the work between the responsible institutions is not coordinated, there is no plan of measures for implementation, and there is no information on what each structure does and should do to implement UNESCO recommendations."

This shows more than ever that the DP's cultural heritage program is needed!

The Democratic Party has guaranteed that every cultural heritage site will implement the highest UNESCO standards.

UNESCO will be our most important guide and partner. Strict implementation of UNESCO standards and the Paris Convention will be non-negotiable.

The Democratic Party will introduce heritage impact assessment, which will become a legal obligation, and will be part of the heritage law, according to the principles implemented by UNESCO.

So every Albanian who feels proud of their history and identity will vote for the Democratic Party, I will vote
