As part of the police operation codenamed "Suspend", citizens Altin Pajaziti, 23 years old, and Kadri Prushi, 53 years old, both residents of Kosovo, were arrested.

"During the operation, the Police services stopped on the "Lezhe - Fushë Kruje" highway, the vehicle in which citizens Altin Pajaziti and Kadri Prushi were traveling, in which, during the search, they found and seized two firearms, pistols and combat ammunition. From the investigations, it is suspected that these citizens trafficked the pistols from Kosovo, with the aim of selling them in Tirana. " - the Police statement says.

According to the capital's police, the two pistols are suspected to have been sold in Tirana for around 10 thousand euros. The police say that investigations are continuing under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, for the full documentation of the criminal activity of these citizens, the identification and capture of other citizens involved.

The procedural materials have been passed to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
