"It's the fault of the residents, they make a lot of garbage"! The cleaning company leaves for weeks without cleaning the bins in Dimal

"It's the fault of the residents, they make a lot of garbage"!

In the village of Drenovica in Dimal, residents complain about mass pollution in garbage bins located near their homes and businesses. But what worries the most is the fact that nearby there is a collection point (warehouse + greenhouses) of fruits, vegetables and according to the residents, the garbage cans are not cleaned for days and weeks and there are often dead animals in them.

They tell Fiks Fare that the pollution and the many insects that come from this garbage has become a problem. For those who have apartments nearby, living is even more difficult. After more than two weeks, at the moment that Fiks Fare was present receiving complaints from the residents, the garbage collection machine arrived, signaled that Fiks was located in the village of Drenovica. The two employees and the driver of the car went directly to work collecting the garbage.

After a few minutes, close to the filming group of Fiks Fare, Mr. Eduart Ibrahimi, comes the person in charge of cleaning, who was informed by one of the employees. He told Fiks Fare that the garbage collection was done 3-4 days ago, which the residents denied and proved with photos and videos. The responsibility was also justified by the fact that the residents throw a lot of garbage, and some of it should not be thrown there. "Sofas, washing machines, refrigerators should not be thrown away, as residents should notify the companies that sold it to them to come and take them" says Ibrahimi. That is, implying that the residents of the village of Drenovica should also differentiate their garbage, but without putting the appropriate bins on them.

This cleaning company has won the tender in the Municipality of Dimal since 2021, worth about 1.2 million euros and has been operating in the Municipality of Dimal for 4 years. The object of this contract is the cleaning service in the administrative territory of Dimal Municipality.

Fiks Fare was also interested in the Municipality of Dimal, where the information service received answers that they were familiar with the situation from the complaints of residents who had filed them with the municipality. The employee claims: "We remembered that the problem had been solved, we didn't know that it was still ongoing." After being informed by Fiksi, the employees confirmed that the cleaning company will be notified of the problem and a solution will be given as soon as possible./ TCH
