3 Albanians, part of criminal organizations, extradited to Italy

3 Albanians, part of criminal organizations, extradited to Italy
Within the framework of close cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, procedures for the extradition to Italy of three Albanian citizens, declared internationally wanted, have been finalized.

The extradition was carried out as part of the international police operation codenamed "The Wanted".

Those extradited are:

ED, 40 years old, wanted by the Italian authorities and accused by the Court of Brescia for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a criminal organization;
E. Zh., 41 years old, also accused by the Court of Brescia for the same criminal offense, "Trafficking in narcotics" within the framework of a structured criminal group;

KN, 33 years old, wanted by the Court of Milan, for the criminal offense of "Aggravated Theft", also committed as part of a criminal organization.

Operation "The Wanted" is part of the joint efforts of Albanian and Italian authorities to crack down on the international activity of organized crime groups and bring to justice those wanted for serious criminal offenses.
