A person has been criminally prosecuted by the Police after being accused of environmental pollution. The Police announced that the proceedings have been initiated against the citizen with the initials, K.GJ, after he was filmed the day before dumping poultry waste into the Buna River.

The case was filmed the day before, while after the footage was published, the police have only prosecuted the 31-year-old employee. The criminal proceedings against the 31-year-old were initiated for the criminal offense of "Air, water and land pollution".

"Regarding a video published on social networks, which shows a vehicle with a company logo, from which waste is being dumped into the Buna River, we clarify that:

The services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat have carried out investigative actions in the case and have identified citizen K. Gj., who appears in the video, throwing waste from the company where he works, which processes chicken meat, from his vehicle into the river.

At the conclusion of the actions in the case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen K. Gj., 31 years old, resident of Shkodra, for the criminal offense of "Air, water and land pollution" - the police announced.
