Police arrested the suspected perpetrator of the murder that occurred in the village of Xibër, Klos municipality, on Wednesday evening. Hazbi Velsula, 65, was arrested in the Allias area of ​​Tirana, a few hours after the crime that shocked the community.

The incident occurred near the victim's property, where Selim Velsula, the perpetrator's cousin, was found dead. According to police sources, the victim's body had injuries suspected to have been caused by a cutting tool.

After committing the act, Hazbi Velsula informed his sister that he had killed a person. Shocked, she immediately notified the police, who organized an operation to capture the perpetrator. He was located and arrested in an area where he had been hiding.

It is initially suspected that Velsula suffered from mental health problems, but this is expected to be clarified by forensic expertise and ongoing investigations.
