A serious incident occurred this Thursday afternoon on the beach of Qerret in Kavaja. A 73-year-old vacationer lost his life when he entered the sea.
According to police, the victim has been identified as HU, 73, and is suspected of having died as a result of cardiac arrest.
"Around 10:00, in Qerret, it is suspected that the citizen HU, 73 years old, resident of Kavaja, suffered a cardiac arrest when he entered the sea and consequently lost his life," the Police statement said.
The investigation team continues to work to document the cause of the loss of life.
