"We met another father"/ Bujar Bukoshi's daughter shows another
In tributes to Bujar Bukoshi, the former first Prime Minister of Kosovo, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 78, his daughter Shota Bukoshi has shared with the public a touching story about her father's human figure.

In an emotionally charged speech, she indicated that beyond his public profile as a surgeon and determined politician, the family had known a man with deep feelings, dedication, and full of love.

"As precise as he was in scalping surgery, he was also direct and courageous in pursuing the vision for our country. He was equally supportive, loving, and humorous when he was with us at home," she said.

Shota Bukoshi also confessed that in recent years, when his father was facing a serious illness, he showed another strength: that of a warrior who does not give up.

"We also met another father: the warrior who challenged illness with the same determination with which he faced the difficulties that politics brought him. Until the end of his life, he showed us that fighting to live means living as a free person in mind and not retreating in the face of any obstacle," she said.

She thanked everyone who stood by the Bukoshi family during this difficult period, calling their support a comfort in their pain.

"In our pain, it is a great comfort to see that his work and contribution are being appreciated," concluded Shota Bukoshi.

Bujar Bukoshi was one of the central figures of the Kosovar political movement in the 1990s and served as Prime Minister of the Kosovo Government in exile from 1991 to 2000. His death has left behind an important legacy in Kosovar politics and society.
