Sentenced to 10 days for giving a live interview, Meta reacts from the cell: There's not even water here, I'm telling you my life story here

Sentenced to 10 days for giving a live interview, Meta reacts from the cell:

Freedom Party President Ilir Meta has reacted from his cell after being sentenced to 10 days without sports activists following a live interview with journalist Beti Njuma.

Through an interview with Ora News, Meta revealed that he was punished after exceeding the official phone call time by 20 minutes, something he said he was unaware of.

Meta adds that despite the "historic sentence" his interviews will not stop, on the contrary, they will now be even more frequent.

"Yes, this "historic" decision is true and was communicated to me today by the Disciplinary Committee at the IEPV "Jordan Misja", allegedly because I had made a phone call at 8:20 PM, when calls are allowed until 8:00 PM.

I didn't know about this strict schedule because I would certainly respect it. In fact, the ban on my sports activity (ping-pong) for 10 days was due to the interview I gave to your colleague Beti Njuma.

Interview:

Meta, is it true that you were sentenced to 10 days for not participating in sports activities due to the interview you gave a few days ago to journalist Beti Njuma on Ora News?

Yes, this "historic" decision is true and was communicated to me today by the Disciplinary Commission at the IEPV "Jordan Misja", allegedly because I had made a phone call at 20:20, when phone calls are allowed until 20:00.
I did not know this strict schedule because I would certainly respect it.
In fact, the ban on my sports activity (ping-pong) for 10 days occurred because of the interview I gave to your colleague Beti Njuma.
I called Mr. Tedi Blushi, with whom I am in constant contact, who was conducting a live interview with her and of course I could not avoid Ms. Njuma's questions, out of respect not only for her high professional integrity but also for her passion for mountain climbing.
Despite the "historical punishment", you can be sure that my interviews will not stop, on the contrary, they will now be even more frequent.

How do you feel after being in prison for 8 months now?

I personally feel in top shape like never before.
I exercise several times a day and read and write a lot, I have learned many new things, since I have never lived in a dormitory.
I have met (although very few), wonderful and noble people who are only here for false statistics.

How are you doing with the heat now?

This is not a challenge for me because I have a problem with the air conditioner and not the heat.
There is really no water now, here in the middle of Tirana, even 12 years after the promise of the Republic of Albania, but when 1 or 2 hours come, we fill the water bottles to wash ourselves.

Mr. Meta, again postponement of the investigation for you.*How do you explain it?

In the incinerator regime that does not exist, but that only Altin does not understand, this is "normal".
Especially when it happens just one day after the end of the official investigations, which were also postponed for 6 months only in the interest of my extreme isolation, with the aim of snatching 83 mandates on May 11 from the Head of the Narcoregime.
So I am not at all disappointed with SPAK, because they have never disappointed me in their high partisanship.
How could they themselves secure lifelong mandates in violation of the Constitution and the law?
We must also understand them.

Do you regret now that you didn't enter the closed list for MPs?

I never regret the decisions I make with full conviction.
The fact that I am in extreme isolation, where neither MPs nor MEPs nor journalists are allowed to meet me, cannot force me to make decisions as a leader who has done his best for democracy and political pluralism since December '90 with the Student Movement until now.
I went on a hunger strike against the hasty constitutional changes in 2008, which eliminated closed lists and killed the spirit of parliamentarism to get to where we are today.
These consequences were not felt much until 2019 when the LSI also burned its mandates or even called on the people to the historic rally of March 2 to stop the law on oaths to Lana of members of the Constitutional Court.
Look what is happening right now!
They want to eliminate any minority opinion even in the Constitutional Court, so they are seriously violating the Constitution by removing the only independent judge.
Not because she can hinder them in the Constitutional Court's decisions in the service of the regime, but because they are terrified of the truth, argument, logic, objectivity and integrity that the "Renaissance" confidants expose.
