A 38-year-old man was arrested today in Durrës after being accused of robbery. Police say the young man with the initials RZ was arrested after he forcibly took the 38-year-old's ID and cellphone on "Pavarësia" street.

The Blues report that the young man had previously been convicted of theft. The 38-year-old has been escorted for further procedural actions. 

Police Notification

The services of the Plazh Police Station, immediately after receiving the notification that in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, a citizen had his profofol and cell phone forcibly taken, organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.     

As a result of rapid investigative actions, citizen RZ, 28 years old, resident of Durrës, previously convicted of theft, was identified, apprehended and arrested for the criminal offense of "Theft by force".  

This citizen is suspected of having forcibly taken the passport and mobile phone of a 38-year-old man during the night, on "Pavarësia" street, in neighborhood no. 13.

The verifications resulted in the citizen RZ, on 05.06.2025, stealing the mobile phone of another citizen. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës.
