An Albanian citizen has been arrested by the Italian police, accused of drug trafficking. According to foreign media , the young Albanian, whose identity is still unknown, was caught on the highway in the Cassino area in Italy (Frosinone), while he was traveling in an “Alfa Romeo” vehicle, inside which 10 kg of cocaine were found.

It was the driver's nervous attitude that led the police officers to conduct a detailed inspection of the vehicle. He gave suspicious answers regarding his destination, the details of the vehicle he owned, and where he was coming from.

It is reported that the cocaine was found under the cover of the spare wheel compartment of the vehicle. The market value of the drugs if sold at retail would provide at least 1 million euros in revenue. The driver was subsequently arrested on charges of possession and trafficking of narcotics and transferred to the Cassino prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
