As our country is facing high temperatures and scorching heat in recent days, the Institute of Public Health advises citizens to exercise caution during the midday hours due to heat stroke.

The Director of the Institute of Public Health, Eugena Tomini, in a statement to Klan News, stated that chronically ill people should follow the recommendations of their family doctor and specialist, to eliminate as much as possible going out during this peak time.

"It is very important to take care of the elderly, young children, and pregnant women. We should eliminate going out during peak hours, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Of course, all chronically ill people should follow the recommendations of their family doctor and specialist to eliminate going out during this peak time as much as possible. We should wear light-colored clothes, that is, cotton and as light as possible. We should drink water even if we are not thirsty, as much as possible during this season,"  said Eugena Tomini, director of the Institute of Public Health.

The IHP recommends consuming fresh foods, fruits and vegetables, to withstand the heat, where temperatures in the sun reach up to 38-40 degrees Celsius.
