Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha said that Agron Shehaj was offered to be part of the coalition under the leadership of the Democratic Party, but he rejected it.

Invited to the Now show on Euronews Albania, Berisha revealed that Shehaj was offered the opportunity to run for the Municipality of Tirana and take over the political leadership of Tirana during the campaign, but he declined, making his own choice.
