The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, participated this Saturday in an iftar hosted for the Muslim believers of Branch 12 by the Opposition candidate for the Tirana District, Ethem Aga.
During his speech, the Chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha expressed the greatest respect for all those who fasted during the month of Ramadan, describing this sacrifice as an act that elevates morale and brings man closer to God. Berisha thanked the Aga family for hosting the iftar and wished that the sacrifice of the Albanians be accepted by God and transformed into good for all.

"First, I want to humble myself with the greatest respect before all of you here, before all those Albanians, men and women, boys and girls who fasted the glorious month of Ramadan in a sacrifice that ennobles and elevates the morality and spirit of man. In a sacrifice that brings man closer to God.

"On this occasion, while thanking the Aga family with gratitude for this iftar, I wish from the bottom of my heart that your sacrifice, the sacrifice of all Albanians, will be accepted by the Almighty and will be transformed into good, will be transformed into courage, will be transformed into good for each of you and for every Albanian ," said Berisha. 

On this blessed night of Eid al-Fitr, the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), wished Albanians luck and prosperity and expressed his wish that next year they would celebrate with greater faith in God and in Albania, with hope for a better future.

"Let us wish tonight this blessed night, Eid night. To Albanians everywhere, good luck and joy on Eid night and Eid. Let us wish that next year we celebrate them as our hearts desire, as we deserve. Let us celebrate them with greater faith in God, let us celebrate them with greater faith in Albania, let us celebrate them with hope returned once again for a future that we deserve.
And once again, happy this blessed night and my warmest congratulations on Eid.
