His Beatitude, Joani, visited today the headquarters of the Muslim Community in Tirana, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. There he was welcomed by the President of this community, Mr. Bujar Spahiu.

Among other things, during his visit, Archbishop Joan emphasized the importance of interfaith coexistence in our country, as one of the greatest assets we have, the example of which we can share beyond our borders.

"Like any asset, we must take care of it as our ancestors, the previous leaders of religious communities, took care of it. So we also have a responsibility to pass it on to future generations. For this, the work of the clergy of each community is not enough, but everyone must make their contribution ," said Bishop Joani.

He also added that God will not judge us only by the result we have, but above all by the effort we make.

During the Archbishop's visit, Mons. Arjan Dodaj, head of the Archdiocese of Tirana and Durrës of the Catholic Community, was also present. The meeting took place in a very friendly atmosphere.
