The head of the Albanian Muslim Council, Bujar Spahiu, congratulates Muslim

The head of the Albanian Muslim Community, Bujar Spahiu, has congratulated Muslim believers on the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and care for those in need. In a message on social networks, he wished that this holiday brings harmony and prosperity to Albanian families, encouraging believers to be part of the joy for the poor, the sick and the elderly.

Spahiu emphasized that the fasting month of Ramadan has been a great "school" for believers, teaching the values of modesty, forgiveness, and caring for others. He called on believers to preserve the good things they have learned during this month and to continue to act with self-discipline and help those in need.

Full congratulations from the head of the KMSH:

Dear sisters and brothers wherever you are

Today, Muslim believers are observing the holy month of Ramadan.

We are saying our final farewell to the blessed month, which left behind forgiveness and mercy for everyone.

Tomorrow is a holiday, it's Eid al-Fitr!

“Eat and drink with joy, for this is what you earned in the past.” (Al-Haqqah, 24)

Today, we pray to God Almighty – the Merciful and the Beneficent, that the honorable Ramadan, which in this world is, after all, a great blessing for us, on the Day of Resurrection, intercede with God for us, saying: “O God! I have prevented these people during the day from eating, drinking and various other pleasures; accept my intercession on their behalf.”

Dear sisters and brothers!

Fasting was a month-long "school" for each of us.

During this month, one learns that modesty, not arrogance, is a virtue.

You learn that forgiveness is more valuable than revenge.

It teaches that caring for the poor and helpless is a higher quality than indifference.

It teaches self-discipline, self-control, and self-education.

Today I cannot mention all the good things we learned from the month of Ramadan, but I wanted to emphasize an important issue, on which we must focus with seriousness and sincerity: the direction we took in Ramadan, the success of our behaviors, and the advanced religious life we achieved, we must continue to do so.

Dear brothers, protect what you earned in Ramadan!

Tomorrow we celebrate with our families, relatives and friends.

But we do not forget to share the joy with the poor, the sick, and the elderly, for whom, in addition to praying to God for their suffering, we also provide our direct support as much as possible.

I hope this holiday brings harmony, solidarity, prosperity and well-being to the family of every Albanian!

May Eid al-Fitr serve as a moment of awareness to respect universal human dignity and values!

May this Eid be a source of goodness, love, and unity for you and your loved ones!
