Salianji after his return: I did not oppose for functions, but for vocation

Ervin Salianji, one of the most active voices of the opposition, released today after 10 months in prison, emphasizes that his commitment has never been conditioned by functions.

In a conference with journalists from the DP headquarters, he underlines that the opposition is not formed for positions, but for obedience and commitment to citizens, when asked what position he will hold in the DP after his release. 

Salianji : I didn't oppose only when I had positions. I did my part to show that it's not the position that matters, but the vocation. The positions don't matter.

Functions in the opposition are given by commitment and citizens entrusting you with trust, while in the government appointments are made. This will be my position. I will be in opposition and in the opposition battle with denunciations, proposals and close to the problems of the citizens to give them a voice. I remind you that during the years 2013-2017 I did not have a mandate but I had a significant political action.
