The Chairman of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, has continued meetings in the US with congressmen and former American Attorneys General.

In a Facebook post, Mediu writes that friends of Albania have joined the opposition in their readiness to hold free and fair elections on May 11.

"Pleasure to meet an old friend, former US Attorney General and Jeff Session, one of the closest people to US Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld and a supporter of Albania's membership in NATO."
