A 27-year-old man from Lushnja has been criminally prosecuted following a complaint from a 28-year-old man, who claims that the young man, vice president of a political entity in the city, threatened him through the "Messenger" platform to influence his vote.

According to the police report, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Lushnje Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were opened against citizen SP, 27 years old, resident of the village of Bubullimë. The latter was reported by citizen J. Ç., 28 years old, for the criminal offense of "Threat or violence against participation in elections".

Due to the nature of the case, the procedural materials were further referred to SPAK for further investigation and other legal actions.

This case has attracted attention due to the use of intimidation methods to influence the vote, a phenomenon that is prohibited by law and violates the integrity of the electoral process.
