Fier police arrested, on an order from SPAK, the father of the Social Democratic Party candidate in Fier, Limonera Bozha.

63-year-old Pandeli Bozha was arrested after allegedly giving sums of money to various citizens over the course of a month, with the aim of buying votes in favor of the candidate, Bozha.

"As a result of a month-long investigation, led by SPAK, a case of vote buying has been documented.

The author is put in handcuffs.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Specialists executed the order of the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime, for the detention of citizen PB, 63 years old, resident of the village of Portëz, for the criminal offense of "Active corruption in elections".

"The investigation suspects that over the course of a month, he gave sums of money to various citizens with the aim of buying votes in favor of a candidate of a political entity. The procedural materials were referred to SPAK for further action ," the police announced.
