Berisha will participate in the EPP Political Assembly in Brussels on June 3-4

 The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is expected to participate in the Political Assembly of the European People's Party (EPP), which will be held on June 3 and 4, 2025 in Brussels.

The meeting will bring together the top leaders of the EPP and representatives of member parties, including the DP from Albania.

The assembly will officially open on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. with a session chaired by EPP Secretary General Dolors Montserrat.

 Session 1 on Party Reform and its implementation phase will then take place, with the participation of EPP President Manfred Weber and senior party officials.

On Wednesday, June 4, attention will focus on trade policies and the world order, where a high-level panel will discuss current challenges and the responses offered by the EPP. 

This session will be attended by names such as Simon Harris, Foreign Minister of Ireland, and Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer from Austria, as well as representatives of the European Parliament and research institutes.

Berisha's participation in this event comes at a time of important developments for the Albanian right, as well as in a period where relations with the EPP are at the focus of political debates at home and abroad.
