High flow of travelers at the Morina border crossing during the weekend

The weekend marked a high influx of travelers at the Morini border crossing, as a result of rising temperatures and the start of summer vacations.

Many citizens have chosen to cross the border to vacation on the Albanian coast.

Thanks to the agreement on free movement, the creation of long queues at the border has been avoided, significantly facilitating the movement of citizens.

A total of 8 entry and 8 exit counters have been opened at the Morinë-Vërmicë border, enabling a rapid crossing process. At the same time, controls have been intensified to identify possible cases of illegal crossings.

Entry into Albania: 14,976 citizens with 4,546 vehicles and 87 buses.

Exit from Albania: 12,811 citizens with 4,050 vehicles.
