The Democratic Party welcomes DASH's message and calls for a technical

The Democratic Party has welcomed the message of the senior official of the US State Department, Samuel Samson, shared the day before by the US Embassy in Tirana on social networks.

In its statement, the DP assesses as a denunciation of the current government the causes conveyed by Samson, which reiterate the main problems in the country: suppression of freedom of speech, mass immigration, targeting of trust and undermining of electoral elections.

The party accuses Edi Rama's government of supporting and collaborating with patronage and drug cartels, threatening the opposition, democracy and society as a whole.

DP also emphasizes the need for the creation of a technical government to guarantee free and fair elections, as expressed in the newly adopted IDC-CDI resolution.

The U.S. Embassy, reposting Samson's article, emphasizes that threats to freedom of speech, mass immigration, trust and elections threaten the very foundations of the transatlantic partnership between the U.S. and Europe.
