This is Pjetër Kaza, the 57-year-old who was found shot to death in the yard of his apartment. The incident occurred in Tale, Lezha.

The 57-year-old was found executed inside his parked car at around 5:00 a.m. after returning from a night shift. It was his wife who found him murdered in the car.

Kaza worked as a guard at the Spaç mine in Mirdita.

It is suspected that Kaza was buried for revenge, as his brother, Agustin Kaza, was also killed in Belgium a year earlier.

The saga of revenge between the two Gjini and Kaza tribes in Mirdita began three decades ago. In 1994, with the murder of the head of the Police Crimes Unit Ndue Kaza by the brothers Dod and Agustin Gjini. The latter were executed in 1997 by Martin Kaza, who was arrested in London and later convicted, a prison sentence he is serving after his arrest and extradition in 2017.
