A truck caught fire on Rruga e Kombit, near the Kalimashi tunnel, while transporting food and energy drinks.

Footage from the scene shows the heavy-duty vehicle engulfed in flames, with black smoke rising into the air and flames quickly engulfing the front of the cabin and then the entire load.

Fortunately, the driver managed to get out of the vehicle in time and escaped without injury.

Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, working for several minutes to neutralize the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further.
