The Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania has filed a request with the Central Election Commission to exclude KAS member Ilirjan Rusmali from reviewing the appeal filed by the coalition.

The letter signed by opposition lawyer Marash Logu states that Rusmajli's presence does not guarantee a due process for the complaining party in terms of guaranteeing the principle of impartiality.

"This member, according to the document, due to the official function he holds with the President of the Republic, as well as the intermediate decision-making regarding our previous complaints, as well as the words and expressions he has used in relation to the complainant's legal representative, we assess that he is in a state of bias and as such should be excluded from the review of the complaint, the object of review in this administrative procedure ," the letter states.
