The Secretary for Legal Affairs of the DP, Ivi Kaso, stated that the opposition will seek to open the ballot boxes for the SP candidates who appealed the results to the CEC but withdrew.

"The DP does not have transparency only for its 7 candidates who have appealed the result, but also for the SP candidates who withdrew from the appeal to the CEC after pressure from Rama.

No vote will be tampered with and anyone who has put their hands in the ballot boxes will face criminal prosecution.

"I don't think there are any counters, at least from the DP, who have the courage to change the result, 26 votes is too many ," Kaso said on News 24.
