They printed fake logos of well-known brands, 4 arrested, two others wanted

Two warehouses were discovered on Arbër Street, where smuggled clothing with fake logos was being printed.

As part of the operation, the police have arrested 4 people, two others are wanted, one of whom is Turkish. In addition, 4 employees have been released on bail.

"As a result of the police intelligence administration, obtained in the course of work against smuggling and other economic and financial crimes, that on Arber Street, in the village of Brrar, smuggled clothing was being stored, with fake logos of well-known international brands, the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Sector finalized the "Fake Star 5" operation."

During the operation:

-Citizen LH was arrested and his son, citizen LH, co-administrator of one of the warehouses, was declared wanted;

-Citizens AB and Xh. L., co-administrators of the other warehouse, were arrested;

-Citizen AH, property landlord, was arrested;

-The Turkish citizen OS, who coordinated the implementation of these criminal activities, was declared wanted;

-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated in a free state, for citizens R. Gj., ZH, Sh. M. and AH, employees in these warehouses.

As a result of the immediate intervention, it was found that the 2 warehouses were equipped with machine lines for sewing, printing and stamping with fake logos, of well-known international brands, of suspected smuggled clothing and accessories.

Work is underway to locate and capture 2 wanted citizens.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecution Office, for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Violation of industrial property rights", "Illegal employment", "Smuggling of other goods", "Trading and transporting contraband goods", "Storage or storage of contraband goods", "Hiding income", "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms" and "Failure to report a crime" , the police announced.
