Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has denounced Edi Rama's decision to grant permits for plots of thousands of hectares to plant cannabis during the election year.

Berisha: In the electoral farce of May 11, 2025, the head of the criminal organization of the Albanian narco-state, Edi Rama, used all means, including licenses for planting 29,300 hectares of drugs in flagrant violation of the law and all international conventions.

The law approved by the government allows, authorizes the planting of 200 hectares nationwide.

But in the election year, this area multiplied dozens of times, hundreds of times.

So, in the election year, Edi Rama surrounded Albania on all four sides, and in depth, with drug plantations, the value of which is colossal if we consider that tens of millions of cannabis roots can be planted on 28 thousand hectares, which are worth at least 10 billion euros.
