New details have emerged in the murder of 57-year-old Pjetër Kaza. The victim is suspected of being shot in the head and shoulder.

The 57-year-old is suspected of being kept under surveillance by the perpetrators until he arrived at the apartment. He was shot while inside the car.

Pjetër Kaza was murdered in the early hours of the morning in the courtyard of his apartment. It was his wife who saw the 57-year-old's lifeless body.

It is suspected that his murder is linked to a long chain of revenge, which dates back to 1994, with the murder of Ndue Kaza, a crime boss in the city of Rreshen. The suspected perpetrators of this event were the brothers Dod and Augustin Gjini, who fled after the crime.

Three years later, in 1997, Martin Kaza, the victim's brother, executed the Gjini brothers in the town of Laç in revenge, for which he was sentenced to 22 years in prison.

On April 28, 2024, another member of the Kaza family, Agustin Kaza, brother of Pjetri, was killed in Belgium. He was shot dead in an Albanian bar in Brussels.
