Official, Juventus appoints Damien Comolli as general director

Juventus have officially announced the appointment of Damien Comolli as the club's new General Director, following his departure from French side Toulouse.

Comolli will be responsible for overseeing the men's team's sports sector, as well as the marketing and commercial development departments.

The 52-year-old has had a rich career in football, working in various positions at several well-known clubs, including a role as a scout at Arsenal, as well as management positions at Liverpool, Tottenham, Saint-Étienne and Fenerbahçe.

Most recently, he was president of Toulouse in Ligue 1, but resigned at the end of May to take up his new position at Juventus.
