Ivi Kaso denounces the electoral crimes of May 11: Money, flour, blackmail and

The elected deputy of the Democratic Party, Ivi Kaso, has raised serious accusations regarding the May 11 electoral process, describing it as a farce directed by the state machine in function of the Socialist Party.

In an interview with Bruna Chiflig on A2 CNN, Kaso stated that the opposition is engaged in a battle to denounce any irregularities from the preparatory phase to the counting of votes, including the distorted process of the diaspora vote, especially in Greece and Italy.

"We have filed requests for invalidity and recount in certain districts. There are many irregularities, from the formation of commissions with public administration, to the pressure on voters," Kaso emphasized.
Serious accusations of pressure and rewards in Korça
Kaso has mentioned by name directors of public administration, taxes and mortgages, who according to him were used to exert pressure and blackmail on citizens in favor of the SP candidate in Korça, Besa Spaho.

"The tax director called the businesses under control to openly ask them to vote for the SP. Also, mortgage employees went door to door to offer legalizations in exchange for votes," said Kaso.
He denounced a flagrant case in the village of Libonik in Maliq, where, according to him, Mortgage officials had gone to the apartment of an opposition candidate and offered her legalization if she supported the SP candidate.

Money and flour, means for vote
buying According to Kaso, in addition to institutional pressure, the distribution of aid and money has been an open tactic for vote buying.

"We have sound and image evidence for the distribution of bags of flour and money to families in need. In one case, a representative of the SP enters the house and promises 100 thousand lek per vote. Then he declares that he was 'joking'," he said.
All these cases, said Kaso, have been filed with SPAK, CEC and KAS, along with evidence and film evidence, requesting that the competent bodies take measures.

Consular office, in function of the SP in the
diaspora Another concern raised by Kaso was the vote in the diaspora, which according to him was "severely manipulated", mentioning the case of the consular office in Thessaloniki, which he describes as an "extension of the SP headquarters" in Greece.

"Postal service operators, including DHL, openly claimed on social networks that they were giving money for the vote. We have them with photos and videos," he declared.
