The head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, stated that the patronage office that was discovered in Tirana is outside the competence of the Central Commission.

In a statement to the media, Celibashi said that they constitute elements of a criminal offense that belong to SPAK or district prosecutors.

"These are elements of a criminal offense, either by SPAK or the district prosecutors' offices, and they will decide. It is outside the competence of the CEC. We must wait for the progress of what the competent bodies will do. The voting process has also ended in Vlora. There is no voting center. The process has ended in all centers. Regarding the nature of the cases we have referred, 2 cases in Tirana are related to pressure on commissioners, one in Elbasan was photographing the vote, one case in Korçë was permission from commissioners for multiple voting, and in the case of Berat. These cases have been referred to the district prosecutors' offices," said Ilirjan Celibashi.
