Journalist: Patronage agents who took voters and took them to vote

Journalist Andi Tela shared details from voting day in Albania.

On the show "The Unexposed" he spoke about the escorting of voters by patronage agents in Tirana, the incident near the "Petro Nini" school. Tela said that he saw patronage agents at the polling stations picking up voters and taking them to vote.

"I myself voted today and saw the atmosphere. It was the same in 2021 and before. Votes are not stolen inside the ballot boxes, but before. Today you could see the party workers taking voters and taking them to vote.

There have been many cases of vote buying in the past week. The police have detained whistleblowers, such as in Dibër, and the case of Gjin Gjoni in Lezha who knocked on someone's door and asked for votes.

We have seen all of this. The police were called to "Petro Nini", but they did not come and it was an office without a logo not even 100 meters from the school, which is not allowed.

The event in 'Petro Nini' is the personification of everything that happens in Albania. It lasted two hours. It is the fable of everything that happens in Albania. The police did not come, no one came there. Much later, 3-4 police officers came. If these people were in their right, they would stay inside the office, they would not move. When the Police and the Eagle Forces arrived, they could not enter because the MP was there. When this event happens in the middle of Tirana, imagine what can happen in every corner of Albania ," said Tela.
