Journalist Artan Hoxha commented in an interview for MCN on the tritol explosion near the prison of Fushë Kruja, describing it as an unsophisticated event and more symbolic than effective. According to him, the incident did not produce major damage and if it had been planned with professionalism, the explosive would have been isolated and could have been dropped by drone.

"Not being sophisticated, it leads you to think that it is not a big deal. They threw it into the generator, but without isolation it does not have a great effect. Just noise. If it were isolated, there would be a powerful explosion. In this case, the effect was minimal. Tritol has been taken on foot, but if we were dealing with a proper organization, a drone would have been used to leave it on the generator", declared Hoxha.

He added that regardless of the nature of the event, it should be taken seriously because of the message it can convey to other criminal groups.

Next, Hoxha also spoke about the recent raids on prisons, especially in Durrës. According to him, the checks were carried out by order of the General Directorate of Prisons and came without warning to avoid the leakage of information.

"The raids were suddenly carried out by the General Directorate, without notifying the internal prison staff, because they have networks and can find out. They have taken place in several prisons, not only in Durrës. The goal was to remove the phones. After the elections, phones are the strongest evidence that must be eliminated," said the journalist.
