Statement by the Deputy Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Ms. Brunilda Haxhiu.

Hello!

Albania is facing a demographic catastrophe today. The birth rate is at historic lows, emigration has reached dramatic proportions, and every year thousands of young people leave the country without returning. This is no longer a crisis, it is a silent depopulation, driven by a regime that for more than a decade has killed hope, annihilated meritocracy, and turned the country into a field of constant emptiness.

The decline in fertility is not simply a consequence of global trends, it is a direct consequence of the fraud, failures, and corruption of this government. A country where young people see no future, where young families dare not have children, and where economic security has been replaced by total insecurity, cannot claim stability or development.

This is the Albania that this government has built, an empty country, governed by propaganda and held together by manipulated votes.

The May 11 elections are the latest evidence of this painful reality: an electoral massacre that massively manipulated the electoral process, did it to the voters in Albania and even worse to the emigrants, the same citizens who have left precisely because of this regime. Through vote manipulation, this government is holding on to power by any means, only to continue the moral, economic and demographic ruin of the country.

This is not just a matter of rigged elections, it is a political crime against the future of Albania. Instead of building policies to keep young people here, boost the birth rate, and bring back immigrants, the government has chosen not to listen to them and steal their votes.

Albania has no more time to waste. The future is leaving every day, silently, on planes, in embassies, at borders. And this government is the cause, not the solution.
