Trends in the digital world are constantly changing, bringing the latest innovations to users' daily lives. Nowadays, most people spend hours on their mobile phones for a variety of functions: communication, shopping, information or entertainment.

According to Appfigures data for May 2025, iPhone users in Albania have shown clear trends for several specific applications. At the top of the list is ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence application that offers advanced features for personal assistance, content creation, and task automation.

In second place is Temu, a new online shopping platform that has made a strong entry into the Albanian market thanks to its low prices and easy access via phone. Albanian users seem to be quickly embracing this digital innovation, making it one of the most downloaded apps of the month.

The third and fourth places are occupied by the Google and Google Maps applications, due to their daily use and efficiency in navigation and searches.

Threads ranks sixth, while the VPN app ranks seventh, showing the growing interest in online privacy and access to global content.

For Samsung device users, the ranking changes somewhat. ChatGPT and Temu apps rank fourth and fifth, showing that Android users have also followed the latest trends in the digital world.

In first place is a health app: iPulse Heart Rate, which measures heart rate, which coincides with the fact that Samsung users in Albania are on average older than iPhone users. In second and third place are applications for localization and photo editing, which reflect the different interests of users.

At the bottom of the ranking are social networks such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, which, although widely used, have not shown any particular increase in the number of downloads over the last month.
