PR Head, Fatmir Mediu announces that today he met with another American congressman in the USA.

He writes on social media that he and the chairman of the US Government Oversight Committee, Congressman James Comer, known as a special personal friend and supporter of Albania for years, discussed the situation in Albania for the May 11 elections.

The media explains that Congressman Sessions promised that, together with other Congressional colleagues, he would closely follow these elections and called on the Albanian government that as a NATO country it had an obligation to guarantee the freedoms and rights of citizens and a functional democracy that stems from free and fair elections.
