Gjoni: PS has manipulated the elections beyond all expectations, Lezha is stuck

The Democratic Party's candidate for deputy in the Lezha region, Gjin Gjoni, has raised strong accusations of manipulation of the last elections, stating that the result achieved by the SP has exceeded even the expectations of Prime Minister Edi Rama himself. According to him, not only has the objective of 78 mandates been exceeded, but the SP has reached 83 mandates, which according to Gjoni is an indicator of systematic manipulation.

In a statement to Syri TV, Gjoni emphasizes that one of the most worrying phenomena has been vote buying and voter intimidation, especially in the Lezha region.

"The issue of election manipulation by the Socialist Party has exceeded all expectations. According to Rama's predictions, the SP was supposed to win 78 mandates, but as the figures show, it has won 83. In the Lezha region, from the information that is coming in every day, vote buying is a very widespread phenomenon. Deputies with no connection to the area have been found to have received votes in areas where they have never been. This shows that through cooperation between the central and local governments and incriminated elements, the result has been overturned with mechanisms such as intimidation, job offers or vote buying," Gjoni declared.

According to him, this phenomenon requires in-depth investigation and urgent intervention to guarantee fair elections in the future.
