Fire engulfs Vlora waste field again, mayor: Intentional

The Vlora landfill was engulfed in fire at the start of the summer season, and as a result, black smoke spread throughout the city.

Regarding this case, the mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dredha, has also reacted, calling the event a "repeated and intolerable circumstance", as according to him this is a "deliberate arson".

"As a result of a repeated and intolerable circumstance of intentional arson or human irresponsibility, in the field of waste, the municipality, in cooperation with the State Police, has filed criminal charges against all the links that must monitor and ensure that such events do not occur again, including the institutions that depend on the municipality.

Law enforcement agencies have been put into action to punish anyone who tries to damage the city's image at the start of the tourist season.

However, immediate measures have been taken to extinguish the fire and prevent a repeat of this ugly event! ", writes Dredha. 

Firefighters are at the scene and are working to contain the flames, while there are no reports of anyone injured in the fire.
