From Didi, Veliu to Nano, none of the directors of the State Police completed their mandate during the 'Rama' government.

Since 2013, when Ps took power, until today, four general directors of the State Police have been replaced.

Although this post has a 5-year term, none of them has completed it completely. Some have been announced as resigned, some dismissed.

The first was Artan Didi. He held this position from October 2013 to March 31, 2015. He announced his resignation, before the noises about the non-execution of the arrest warrant for Mark Frroku, a document that was forgotten on the State Police's desks, died down.

Haki Çako, a police officer who had affected several police stations and recently also the police director of Lazarat, who apparently stood out during the fall of this village and took the baton in April 2015 until January 2018, also left with his resignation, where he was released after resigning. when the Minister of the Interior was Fatmir Xhafaj.  

Çako was replaced for a transitional period by Rebani Jaupaj who remained in command until, at the proposal of Xhafa, Ardi Veliu, who had been catapulted from the traffic police, took over the direction of the Albanian police.

But even for Ardi Veli, the appointment lasted from 2018 until the beginning of October 2021. Veli was often asked to vacate the chair due to the scandals that occurred during his term, such as the murder of Klodian Rasha, violent protests, his accusations against a the mother of a minor, etc.

 Meanwhile, today, the government decided to dismiss the General Director of the State Police Gladis Nano. Nano's career as police chief lasted almost a year.

We remind you that with the serious incident that happened on the beach of Potami in Himare a few weeks ago, where the former officer Arjan Tase collided to death with the 7-year-old Jonada Avdia's speedboat, the citizens have demanded the resignation of the General Director of the State Police. Together with him, they demanded the departure of the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuçi and the Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro.
