Murder charges, Indrit Taullai extradited from Kosovo

Interpeol Tirana in cooperation with international counterparts has continued the work for the capture, arrest and extradition inside and outside the Republic of Albania of persons declared internationally wanted.

Thus, the citizen Indrit Taullai was extradited from Kosovo, who is accused of killing Klodian Saliu and Vajdin Lamaj in cooperation with other members of the Durrës gang.

Along with Taullain, Gjergji Ccollaku from Germany and Ahmet Isufaj, who was sent from Albania to Kosovo, were also extradited.

As a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with the counterpart offices, thanks to the continuous exchange of information, it became possible the arrest and then extradition to our country of 2 Albanian citizens, as well as the extradition to Kosovo of another Albanian citizen.

The extradition of the Albanian citizen from Stuttgart / Germany to our country was successfully completed:

Gj. Ç., 56 years old, resident in Korça.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by the OGC Interpol Tirana, after the Court for Serious Crimes in Tirana, with the decision dated 11.09.2019, imposed the security measure "Prison arrest", for the criminal offenses "Narcotics trafficking", ". Structured criminal group ”and“ Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group ”.

This citizen, in cooperation with other citizens, was part of a structured criminal group that dealt with drug trafficking.

Also, Interpol Tirana has made possible the extradition from the Republic of Kosovo to our country, of an Albanian citizen:

IT, 46 years old, resident in Durrës.

This citizen was declared wanted, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana, with the criminal decision dated 02.12.2020, imposed the measure "Arrest in prison" for the consumption of criminal offenses "Premeditated murder" committed in collaboration in the form of a structured criminal group "," Illegal possession of firearms, with serious consequences "," Structured criminal group "," Murder in other specific circumstances against two or more persons, committed in cooperation in the form of a structured criminal group ”.

Also from the office of OGC Interpol Tirana, today has been successfully finalized the extradition to the Republic of Kosovo, of the Albanian citizen:

AI, 58 years old, resident in Fier.

This citizen was accompanied by the Local Police Directorate of Fier, after the High Court, with the Decision of the Criminal College of this court, dated 11.12.2020, has decided not to accept the recourse filed by this citizen against the decision of 23.07.2020 of the court of Vlora Appeal (which decided to leave in force the decision to allow extradition by the Fier Judicial District Court).

This citizen was extradited to the Republic of Kosovo, in order to execute the security measure "Prison arrest" imposed by the Basic Court in Prishtina, for the criminal offenses "Organized crime" and "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics" .
