OSHEE has informed all electricity consumers in Tirana that due to a defect in the electrical cables, some areas have been left without electricity.

According to OSHEE, part of Kavaja Street, part of Student City and the former aviation field have been left without electricity. Failure teams are working to supply alternative line of fault-affected areas to total breakdown repair in out-of-work cabins.

Due to the defect in the 20kV cable at the Flour factory, as a result of the network overload, some feeders were left without power, shutting down 6 cabins. One of them, cabin no. 2 on the street "Kongresi I Lushnjes", behind the hotel "Mondial" burned down leaving without energy a part of the street of Kavaja.

Part of the Student City and part of the former aviation field were left without energy.

Failure teams are on the ground and working on supplying alternative line of fault-affected areas to total breakdown repair in out-of-work cabins.
