The sixth day of protests for the murder of Klodian Rasha by an 'Eagles' police officer on December 8 continues.

Unlike the past five days, today’s protest has been completely different. From the beginning, the participants were lower, but unlike other protests there were no teenagers and minors.

Among the gatherers were different age groups and civil society. They first gathered in crowds in 'Skanderbeg' Square and then marched peacefully towards the prime minister.

The latter has been surrounded by a police cordon, while FNSH teams have been on standby in cases of tense situation. Even in the ranks of the police, the lowest number of their positioning on the ground was noticeable.

After standing for a few minutes and calling for justice for Klodian, the protesters left again without any incident towards 'Skënderbej' Square, having previously passed near the Interior Ministry building.

During this march, for the first time since the start of the wave of protests for the 25-year-old, there were no incidents and no intervention by the police.

We recall that a few hours before the start of the protest at 18.00, the police issued a statement explaining that they would not allow any gathering of citizens in Tirana or other districts due to measures within the COVID-19 pandemic.
