Historic! Who are the four Albanians who won in the special general elections in

Four Albanians have been declared winners in the special general elections in New York and New Jersey, making history in Albanian immigration to the United States of America.

It is about the Albanians Violeta Berisha from Puka, Vedat Gashi from Kosovo, Edita Shkreli from Shkodra and Emiljana Ulaj from Tirana.

 Violeta Berisha was elected Mayor of Fairview, in New York, a city of 15,000 inhabitants, with an annual budget of 22 million dollars.

Edit Shkreli, also from the Democratic Party, won the elections and became a judge in the Civil Court of New York, the 1st Circuit of the Municipal Court of Bronx County.

Vedat Gashi, who was a Westchester County legislator, ran for a second term after his term ends and won last night with 56.9 percent to 43 percent of Republican Daniel J. Branda.

Emiljana Ulaj was elected Westchester County Legislator. She came with her family after fleeing Albania in 1997 amid a civil war and received 1,552, 65.2%, against Laurie Abbate-Ryan (R) who received 827, 34.8%
