The most powerful passports in the world for 2024 are France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain (194 destinations) – Finland, South Korea, Sweden (193 destinations).

Albanians can travel with their passport to 121 countries in the world. According to the 2024 index, our passport is ranked 42nd for its power of free movement.

The Albanian passport ranks 42nd in the world, with citizens moving freely in 121 countries of the world, 70 of which are visa-free.

Although in the region it leaves behind only Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, our country remains in the same order in relation to last year's classification.

After the removal of visas in the "Schengen" area, the Kosovo passport has climbed to the 55th place, gaining the possibility of travel without obstacles, to 91 countries, from 48 that was possible last year.

Citizens of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore and Spain can secure visa-free entry to 194 destinations worldwide, the highest number ever recorded.

Finland and Sweden are tied with South Korea for second place, with 193 easily accessible destinations, while Austria, Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands come third (with 192 destinations).

Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal and the United Kingdom are in fourth place, while Greece, Malta and Switzerland are in fifth place.

Australia and New Zealand improved their rankings and are now in sixth place along with the Czech Republic and Poland.

The United States and Canada, meanwhile, are tied for seventh, along with Hungary, with visa-free access to 188 destinations.
