A restaurant in Philadelphia that opened Friday is serving hamburgers priced at $700. The delicacy, on the menu at DBG, "The Drury Beer Garden" and called "Gold Standard" is made from A5 Wagyu beef, caviar, truffles, lobster with Louis XIII cognac, gold leaf and aged Irish Wexford cheddar. The accompanying chips are drizzled with rare and potent 1500+ Manuka honey, produced from the nectar of the mānuka tree native to New Zealand. Honey can cost up to the not-so-sweet price of $816 online. DBG's expensive entry is also served with a 1-ounce side of Louis XIII Cognac, which is aged at least 40 years and produced in limited quantities by Remy Martin.

A 750ml bottle retails for $4,100, according to Forbes. George Tsiouris, who co-owns the Center City restaurant with his sister, Vasiliki Tsiouris-Balis, said in a statement:

"Burgers are one of the most popular foods around the world. We are excited to offer our guests some amazing, creative and delicious options with our new menu concept."

While it doesn't cost anywhere near the world's most expensive hamburger, which retails for $5,964, Twitter users said they wouldn't be happy with these prices:

"No, that's rent money. I'd keep the burger and make a donation instead. With people struggling so much these days, especially with inflation, that's in really poor taste."
