Albania shines on the Eurovision stage, ranks 8th

Albania was able to place 8th last night at Eurovision, it came eighth at Eurovision. 

Albania, with the song "Zjerm" by Shkodra Elektronik, received 218 points, with the majority of votes coming from the public, as it was ranked 16th after the jury voted.

Of these, 173 points came from public votes, while 45 points were provided by the national juries of the participating countries.

"Zjerm" sung by the Shkodra Elektronike duo, consisting of Beatriçe and Kola, stood out as a unique creation that combined elements of electro-pop music with traditional Albanian motifs.

Meanwhile, Eurovision 2025 in Basel was won by Austria with Filipino-born singer JJ with the song “Wasted Love.” Austria achieved a total of 436 points, receiving 179 points from the public televoting and being one of the most highly rated songs by the professional juries of the participating countries.
