The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, voted from the Durrës detention facility.
Voting centers officially opened at 07:00 in the morning and will remain open until 19:00. A total of 3,713,761 Albanian citizens are eligible to vote in these elections, among whom 114 thousand are first-time voters.
